9 Follow-up tools in use
On certain pages we use separate analytics tools to analyse the structure of our website. We are able to check if people have problems with navigation on our Site. With the help of these tools we can improve the Site’s structure and offer a better user experience.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics, a Google Inc (Google) web analysis service, to enable website usage analysis. In order for Google Analytics to analyse the website’s usage, it saves cookies on the device. The cookie-assisted website usage data are transferred and stored mainly on Google servers in the United States.
Website usage data helps evaluate the website’s usage, create usage reports and develop the Site. Google Analytics track your IP address, but does not connect it to other data with Google. Google may also hand over the data to third parties, if the law requires it or a third party handles the data on Google’s behalf.
Google Tag Manager
Google Tag Manager is used to administer the Site’s tags (identifiers). Google Tag Manager does not store cookies or collect personal data. This tool activates other services that in certain cases collect data. Google Tag Manager itself does not use these data.
Google AdWords follow-up and targeting
We use Google Adwords and for this we collect generic data of visitors, such as age, gender and country. Google Adwords cookies are used to monitor which ads the user will see, and how effective the ads produced by Google are.
AdWordsiin collects an anonymous list for remarketing, where ads can be targeted on visitors of our Site, without the storage of identifying data on our or Google’s servers. By using Google remarketing cookies we are able to display targeted banner ads on the Site’s visitors, after they have exited our Site and are browsing other sites. With the remarketing cookies we can administer the settings so that not too many ads are shown to the users.
Third Party extensions and marketing, e.g. social media
Third party extensions may exist on the Site, to e.g. share the contents through social media, and to track the functionality of social media advertising and targeting. The extension is loaded from the servers of the third parties, and these parties may apply their own cookies. Terms of use of the third party providers apply to third party extensions.
